For those short on time or who simply do not want to trek to Machu Picchu these 2 day train packages are the perfect option for you.
It includes transport, hostel in Aguas Calientes, entrance ticket to MP, and the Guided tour to MP.

We will pick you up from your hostel at 9.50 a.m., you will then be taken to Ollantaytambo in the Sacred Valley of the Incas where you will have time to explore this traditional Inca village. We will then take the train to Aguas Calientes at 12:58 pm (this takes 2 hrs. Approximately), you will trip in Expedition Service.
The Expedition is a service designed for the traveler´s comfort, with four passenger seats located in front of each other, so you can share your experience, and for the faithful backpack that is always with you we offer racks placed above the seats. Also, this train has panoramic windows, air conditioning and heating, and Andean music that creates a cheerful atmosphere.
Upon arrival there will be a guide waiting for you to take you to your hostel where at night the guide will visit you to explain the details of the tour on the next day.
Very early we will start the ascent to Machu Picchu to arrive just before dawn (the walk takes approx. 2 hours) the bus is optional and costs $ 12 per ticket each way, the first bus leaves at 5:30 am. If you bought your entrance pass to Huayna Picchu you will have the chance to climb this mountain (availability is controlled by the government and the Ministry of Culture, ask about availability at the time of your booking).
In Machu Picchu you will have a two hour guided tour and after this you will have some time to explore this important Inca citadel on your own.
Your tour to Machu Picchu will take you through the most important sites that comprise the citadel, where you can learn more about the incredible Inca civilization.
Within Machu Picchu there are a number of specific treasures that you can explore at your own pace. There are over 150 different palaces, temples, dwellings, and other structures within the citadel. Take time to get lost in its 75 acres of wonder and climb some of the citadel’s 10,000 steps.
Famous Machu Picchu attractions include the Intihuatana stone, which points toward the sun at the winter solstice and may have acted as an astronomical calendar, and the Temple of the Sun, and the Room of Three Windows, both of which were devoted to the sun god Inti.
We will then return to Aguas Calientes where you must be at the train station at least 30 minutes before your train leaves (the return train is subject to change so it’s better to be safe and on time).
Once we arrive to Ollantaytambo there will be a bus waiting for us that will take us back to Cusco, leaving you at the Regocijo Square in the City Center.
**Please remember that if you want to buy the ticket for admission to Huayna Picchu mountain it must be for the second group (10 am) otherwise you cannot take the 2 hour tour in Machu Picchu**
