With the Sacred Valley Via Ferrata, you can climb a rock wall 300 mt, in the safest way. You will have the opportunity to enjoy the mystical landscape of the Sacred Valley, during the ascent. For the descent, it offers 100 mt of mountain rappel that will give you extra adrenaline shoot to make this experience complete. No previous experience is needed.
Anyone in good health and who can manage the height of the stairs. The minimum age for the Sacred Valley via ferrata is 7 years old.
Location: The activity takes place in the rock located in Pachar, between Urubamba and Ollantaytambo.
Difficulty Level: Intermediate. No previous experience in the same or similar activities is needed.

What equipment is used?

A standard climbing harness, helmet, gloves and a double system with strength sink specially designed for climbing via ferrata (System via ferrata).

Via Ferrata Safety

The equipment used allows the person to remain always tied to a lifeline, in this case a steel cable. Through the system via ferrata the person can go up the road making sure easily with carabiners system.
All our guides are mountain guides trained in vertical rescue.
There demarcated and rappel stations along the entire rope route that can be used in the company to exit the guide via emergency exits.


  • Private transportation from/to Cusco or the Sacred Valley
  • One guide per group of 5 people
  • Equipment (harness, helmet, via ferrata lanyard and gloves)
  • Snacks.

Should I take

  • Wearing light clothing and good shoes (tennis, light hiking boots, etc. No sandals).
  • Note that as you move up will be cold and wind can carry extra clothing in a small backpack.
  • Bring at least 2 liters of water.
