Itinerary

The zip-line Sacred Valley offers the opportunity to people of all ages can fly this magnificent place. In a safe and fun way, the zip-line has 7 lines or cables, of 150-700 mt, for a total of 2800mts. The guide, the person engages the cables by means of a pulley fixed to the harness. To get to the first cable, you should make a beautiful walk of 35 minutes, some parts equipped with via ferrata, to provide maximum security and confidence to our adventurers. No previous experience is needed.
Location: The activity takes place in Pachar, between Urubamba and Ollantaytambo.
Difficulty Level: Easy. No previous experience in the same or similar activities is needed.
Duration: 3-4 hours depending on group size. It does not include transfer time.

What equipment is used?

A harness canopy, canopy September (pulley, belt and 3 carabiners), helmet, gloves and a set via ferrata.

Via Ferrata Safety

All roads between wire and cable, are equipped with via ferrata system for safety. The cables were laid, so that the person loses speed as it approaches the end of the cable. In the last line or cable, the person should stop to get to the platform, in this case installed a Brake Assist, ie the guide restrain the person if necessary.

All our guides are mountain guides trained in vertical rescue and first aid.

Should I take?

  • Wearing light clothing and good shoes (tennis, light hiking boots, etc. No sandals). Note that as you move up will be cold and wind can carry extra clothing in a small backpack.
